Your furnace filter must be changed at
regular intervals whether home is occupied
or not. A dirty air filter can ruin
your air conditioning unit and take years
off the life of the furnace.
Even a small leak can cause rot, mildew or
mold damage and can cost thousands of
dollars over time.
During cold weather it is a must that the
furnace be running to prevent burst and
frozen pipes which could cause thousands of dollars in
damage.
If your tenants know an inspector
comes on a regular basis, one to two times a
year, and there is somebody local they can
call they will tend to take better care of
your home.
